Ride Like a Girl Movie Night

Out of stock

If you are unable to make it to the move night but would like to make a donation you can do so here.
It’s that time of year again! Human and Hope will be hosting another one of our Movie Nights in October. We are excited to announce that the movie we have organised to privately screen for our guests will be the newly released ‘Ride Like a Girl’, the story of Michelle Payne, the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup.
Help us raise much needed funds to empower communities and reduce inequalities. Much like the antagonist in the film, Human and Hope Association Inc are working hard to breakdown gender stereotypes. The money raised at this year’s movie night will help us to continue our work in this area and empower local Cambodians to create a sustainable future for themselves and future generations.
Date: Wednesday 2nd October
Time: 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start
Location: Palace Platinum Central Cinemas – Level 3 Central Park Mall, 28 Broadway Chippendale
Cost: $29 per ticket – includes admission to the session, a candy bar voucher (which can be used to redeem a small popcorn, small drink or choc top) and a small handicraft made by a Cambodian woman who is overcoming poverty.
We will also be holding a raffle on the night, with lots of fantastic prizes to be won. The money from the raffle on the evening will go towards our fundraising efforts for this event.
We are really looking forward to seeing you there. Don’t forget to spread the word and bring as many friends along as you would like!
